Living Area – The Statement Double Wall
The central design feature of Nilay is its striking double-height living room wall. We conducted an extensive material study to avoid visual clutter while ensuring a sense of grandeur. The final design uses a textured grey concrete finish — bold yet sophisticated.
Complemented by graphic linear elements, this architectural centerpiece unifies the entire living space, offering an aesthetic balance between depth and restraint.
Kitchen – A Multifunctional Heart of the Home
The kitchen was designed as a shared activity zone for three generations. The centerpiece is a multifunctional island, surrounded by a vibrant and whimsical palette that invites creativity and togetherness.
From daily family meals to festive cooking sessions, this kitchen is a place of connection, laughter, and nourishment — in every sense of the word.
Movie Room – Redefining Home Entertainment
The family envisioned a light and versatile movie room — breaking away from the typical dark, enclosed vibe. We prioritized acoustics with strategically placed panels while choosing light-toned materials and finishes to maintain a bright, multi-utility character.
This space now doubles as a home theatre and a guest room, designed with dual functionality without compromising on either form or purpose.
